My life is pretty much routine these days, so there are not a lot of exciting things to write about.
Besides, I’m still thinking about this blog and if I should begin to steer it in a slightly different direction…? And when exactly would be a good time to do that? The number I’m currently playing with in my head is 150, I.e that would be a good time to switch it up.
But for now, I’ll just document my days…
This morning I started with a 30-min workout video from the Popsugar Fitness channel that I’m subscribing to on YouTube.
And then…another smoothie bowl! Today, was a totally green bowl and it was so delicious. I must say, that I’m liking these smoothies a lot. I don’t follow any particular recipes, I’m just putting together ingredients that I like and think will go well together.
Today’s smoothie bowl had…
- Banana (2 small)
- Melon (a few slices)
- Cucumber (about half without the seeds)
- Pumpkin seeds (about 1 tbsp)
- Lime juice
- Arugula (about a handful)
- Romaine lettuce (about a handful)
- Dates (about 1 tbsp)
- Matcha powder (about 1 tsp)
- A dash of almond milk
Blended until smooth (I had to add more banana because it was a little too thin) and topped with pumpkin seeds, coconut and dates. This tasted so good, and I could really taste the arugula.
I found the perfect spot to photograph my smoothie bowls too!
After a few productive hours at the office, I came home and had a big salad for lunch with everything. I love salads where I just throw a lot of different things together.
At night, we continued our Star Wars “marathon”. I can’t believe they made that many of them…I completely lost track! We watched episode 4 and I totally fell asleep before it was done.
