Good morning, sunshine! This smoothie bowl tastes really good and is very fresh. I am a newbie when it comes to using turmeric powder, but I really like the taste and so think it’s great for (some) smoothies.
This yellow/orange smoothie bow has:
- Banana (1-2 medium)
- Orange juice from a whole orange
- Papaya (almost half of a decent sized fruit)
- Rice milk or any other milk…or water (just a little, maybe 1/4 cup)
- Hemp seeds (1 tbsp)
- Turmeric powder (1 tsp)
Blend it up until it’s smooth. Mine was a little too thin, so I just added more banana. You could also just add more papaya, I guess, to save on the extra calories. Whatever works for you.
I topped it with a little drizzle of shredded coconut to add another texture and to have something to kind of chew on.
