Papaya – Turmeric Smoothie Bowl

Good morning, sunshine! This smoothie bowl tastes really good and is very fresh. I am a newbie when it comes to using turmeric powder, but I really like the taste and so think it’s great for (some) smoothies.

This yellow/orange smoothie bow has:

  • Banana (1-2 medium)
  • Orange juice from a whole orange
  • Papaya (almost half of a decent sized fruit)
  • Rice milk or any other milk…or water (just a little, maybe 1/4 cup)
  • Hemp seeds (1 tbsp)
  • Turmeric powder (1 tsp)

Blend it up until it’s smooth. Mine was a little too thin, so I just added more banana. You could also just add more papaya, I guess, to save on the extra calories. Whatever works for you.

I topped it with a little drizzle of shredded coconut to add another texture and to have something to kind of chew on.
