I love the mixed forest berries that you can buy frozen. I can get them here with a mix of strawberries, blueberries, blackberries and raspberries. This purple smoothie juice is delicious and has:
- Banana (1 medium)
- Forest berries (about half to one cup), mostly blueberries & blackberries
That’s all. You can add other ingredients e.g. seeds, nuts or coconut to make it more delicious. You could also add a tablespoon of chia seeds, let it sit for a few hours and then enjoy it as a little bit thicker smoothie juice or use less water and make it into a smoothie bowl.
I make smoothie juices and bowls with basically the same ingredients. The only difference is in the amount of water or milk that I use to get the exact thickness that I want – depending on my mood and the time of day.
